Who We Are
Let's Go! is a new organisation that wants to help adults with Down Syndrome learn new skills and start careers. People with Down Syndrome have amazing talents and abilities while adding enormous value to the workplace. Our team includes teachers, trainers, and industry experts who have the skillset necessary to provide successful outcomes for all stakeholders and our employment partners, who we will work closely with to match our learner ambitions to a career path.
What and How we will do it
Let's Go! aims to listen to the ambitions of learners, enabling them to pursue their career goals, while increasing their self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-efficacy by enhancing employment skills across various sectors. Let's Go! ensures that its learners make a highly positive impact in the workplace. We will do all of this in a bespoke training facility which marries function and accessibility.
Let's Go! provides comprehensive support that goes beyond the training period, fostering strong connections between learners, ourselves and employers while creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. The organisation is dedicated to continuous improvement.
Our “Ambition to Action” protocol focuses on our learner's career goals and the job requirements of our employment partners. Let’s Go! will work with employers to create training programs that teach job specific skills. The organisation will remain agile allowing us to continuously adapt and improve as we learn more about what learners and employers need.
What our Impact will be
Let's Go! aims to create a positive impact on adults with Down Syndrome by helping them learn new skills and find jobs. The organisation emphasises the potential of individuals with Down Syndrome.
